Mexican old timers must be very excited now that the local government in Mexico City will start to issue them free Viagra and other libido enhancing medications.
Among the drugs that will be offered are Viagra, Levitra and Cialis to over 70 year olds who suffer from erectile dysfunction.
Mayor Marcelo Ebrard of Mexico City said that the drugs are believed to improve the lives of the pensioners and make them happier.
The medications will be handed out starting on December 1 at Mexican nursing homes. It will surely be an interesting early Christmas present for seasoned citizens to receive such a drug as Viagra.
But before the men could get the drug, they will undergo a medical check up to know if it is okay for them to take the medication.
It is believed that 70% of the 70year old men suffer erectile dysfunction.

I have not spent anytime visting a nursing home in Mexico,but I have spent several hours in them here in the U.S.,unless somehow their nursing homes are different than ours here I see very little use for hardon drugs.I guess it could be comical though looking at it from another view.

Do you think that the local officials of Mexico City look down on men because it is as if they are telling that the only thing that could make men happier is sex?
Or they want the pensioners to feel young again? and remember the times they had when they were still young and can be as "hard as a platinum"?
At least we know that with all the world's troubles, the Mexican's have their hard on straight! I mean... Their heads on straight! lol
That ought to keep them busy for a while! he hee! ;)

I am just curious. If they would give men viagra, why don't they give women KY Jelly? I am sure they would really need a lot of lubrication.

I think it's ridiculous considering that Mexico has enough problems already. That drug can cause many side-effects, check-up or not.
And what if these "old men" get it on with women who can have kids? Are they giving out birth control too? They can't even feed the kids there now! You can have kids through menopause, and many old men dig "younger chicks" (in their forties) so this is not too wise in any way I'd say.
